How about becoming a captain for an afternoon? About twenty minutes from Le Futuriste campsite, the Mini Port of Cenon-sur-Vienne offers you the chance to pilot your own electric boat on the Vienne River. No license needed: we’ll explain the controls, then you’re free to go at your own pace, at 7 km/h, between wooded banks and reflections on the water.
The boats accommodate 4 to 5 people, or up to 7 for larger families. You can rent for 30 minutes, an hour, or more, depending on your desire for the day. Kids love to steer and watch for ducks. For the more active, you can also choose a pedal boat, paddleboard, kayak, canoe, or rowboat. There’s no minimum age, and life vests are provided for weights as low as 15 kg, so even toddlers can come along. The site is fully accessible to people with disabilities.

In July and August, the Mini Port is open daily from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM. In spring and early September, it’s open on weekends and public holidays, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A calm, quiet, and accessible outing for everyone, ideal for enjoying the Vienne River with family or friends.
